Just What the Doctor Ordered

Or at least this is what I think is the perfect remedy to a tiring day:

Baby Sitting

Last night we had the pleasure of watching Jackson while Danielle and Craig went to dinner. We LOVED it!
Jackson had a great time!
Food makes everything better.
Just chillin on the couch...Raymond was a pro!

What Did I do?

I didn't do it! That what he's saying. I guess the leather handles were appealing. This was a little more humorous than the roll of toilet paper he destroyed the other night! I wasn't in the mood to get a picture of that!
Ok, mom...now you can see that he is not so innocent all the time! :)

Favorite Places

Davy went to the vet this week and we learned that he gained 10 pounds in the 3 weeks that we have had him. He is definitely a growing dog! He keeps us on our toes while in the house! But I'm so impressed with him already knowing how to sit, lay down (most of the time) and be housebroken. (knock on wood!)

Davy's most favorite place is under the swing outside. If he's not running around he will sit/sleep under the swing. Even when it's pouring outside.

When Davy comes inside and the gate is not up blocking the back bedrooms, he immediately runs to our bedroom and gets under the bed. We can't figure it out because he doesn't do anything under there. Maybe he thinks if he hides, we won't put him back outside.
If he's with me while I'm in the office most of the time he will take whatever he is chewing and get behind the recliner.

Happy Easter!

What would I do without Jamie reminding me when I have posted last?!? :) I tried posting last night, but my computer didn't want to. It still doesn't...this is my third time to rewrite this. It will probably will get shorter each time.
I love Easter! What an incredible day to focus on the hope that we have. It is life changing and overwhelming! I wish that I made a point to remember His death more often. I read on another friend's blog how Easter is probably the most underrated holidays. So true...without the Resurrection we would have nothing else to live for the rest of the year.
This year was different. I didn't dye eggs, put together an Easter basket, or even buy a new outfit! But still just as great! I woke up early to the dreary rain. The church next to us was playing their bells for quite a while and it just made the day feel even more special and important. Ray and I had a great time of worship at church. We sang one of my favorite songs, In Christ Alone.
"Then bursting forth in glorious day up from the grave He rose again!
And as he stands in Victory, sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine; bought with the precious blood of Christ."
Love it!
We then went to Moore to have lunch with the Day family. I wish I took a picture of the pretty tables Sissy set up! It was such great food and a good time to see everyone.

Here we are waiting for eggs to be hidden in the house.
I couldn't resist posting this! :) The Easter Bunny:
