My great husband and sensitive listener took me to Shoguns for our Valentine's dinner because I had mentioned that I had never been and thought that it would be fun to go there some time. We had a 9:00 reservation and so before we went, we made cinnamon rolls as our pre-dinner snack and watched TV. Once sitting in the lounge waiting to be seated my eyes kept shutting but luckily was kept awake by the most hilarious old chef and interesting people sitting next to us. It was a fun experience! I was so excited to find a Dallas Cowboys stocking cap to give him because he had been asking for one for forever and he was sweet to give me the new Michael Buble CD.
I didn't want flowers for Valentine's Day because they are so expensive. But of course I got them not long after. He did plan to have them delivered at school the Monday after, but I was sick home from school, and so they came the next Monday! They were gorgeous and I loved them in my classroom the entire week. By Friday they were huge as they opened all the way up. It's amazing how flowers can make everything happy!
