Our cousin Allie has plans to go to OBU in a couple of years. They just moved to New Orleans and so on their visit just before they moved, we thought it would be fun to take her to Shawnee to check it out.
It was such a fun walk down memory lane seeing where we lived and where we went to class. I really wished that we could have walked into WMU to see our old dorm rooms from our freshman year. But it was closed for renovations. I hadn't been there since Jamie graduated 5 years ago. There were a few changes like the athletic center and the GC. But a lot has stayed the same.
Then of course we had to get a snow cone. The perfect cold treat on a hot day.
Later that evening we had a good time hanging out and eating homemade icecream. Raymond did a great job!
